And I think she has one of the most recognizable voice in the Chinese music industry today; Not the widest range, but clear, precise and strong firm vocals.
Her biggest strength is when she sings, u hear her tell a story.

I remember the first time i heard of her, it was several years ago during Malaysian Idol, it was an audition, and she got kicked out, becoz she couldnt remember the lyrics, she just froze. What got my attention was not the fact that she couldnt remember or becoz she was nervous, nor was it becoz she didnt even got through the audition.
It was because she pleaded with the 3 judges ” Please….give me another chance! Please….I know I can do very well” What took me by suprise was the last 7 words. Of course, the show had to go on, and she was not given another chance.
Several years later, I saw her again in ASTRO Talent Quest. She got into TOP 10. She caught my attention again when she didnt cry when she got eliminated…but she cried when she kicked out a friend an episode before that. -_-!!
Fast forward , I saw her perform in one of the Cafe in Puchong, and whilst everyone is there to chit chat, she silenced everyone while she took the mic.
Then a few months ago, she became Champion of Taiwan’s 超级星光大道！ Took home 1million. Now who’s laughing.
And yesterday, She came over my show with her first and latest album.
I believe her story is a story that many can learn from. Regardless of your age. For me, it was a story of never giving up, a story of keep pressing on, and working hard on the things you want to achieve. Too many people, give up and just when ppl tell them their not good enough, they just leave it just like that. I dont know any great personalities have achieved success without failure. You wanna be great at something? Learn how to fail.

Finally, had the oppurtunity to work with Alex San after knowing him for several years. Its not everyday that I get a chance to work with someone of that caliber. Being a legend in his field, he has composed and recorded with the likes of Faye Wong, AEason Chan, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Leon Lai etc. I know~ coolness right?
He is of course the mind behind the original soundtrack of , ”大日子woohoo Tiger woohoo“ “天天好天 Great Day “, and he is also working on our latest CNY 2012 MOVIE “阿炳:心想事成 AH Beng :3 wishes” in Cinemas JANUARY 12 2012!!
Came over today to do some recording for our original soundtrack as well as some VO work for the movie.
Alex was funny and nice to work with. One of the smoothest recording Ive done. Looking forward!!!
